We are seeking a highly responsible and dependable Operations Assistant to join the core team of the Mad Science operation starting this 2024 SPRING semester. This is a LONG-TERM/PERMANENT position (30hours or more/week). The position requires overseeing the equipments and supplies of the company. This includes the preparation, maintenance and tracking of the science materials and supplies. The candidate will work alongside the Operations Manager. The position also includes some teaching interactive science to children from preK to middle school.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

1. knowledge of software on word and database and tracking management

2. extremely organized and detail oriented

3. efficient, productive and consistent

4. passion for science and children

5. independent thinker but a team player

6. has teaching experience at elementary grade level, preferred

7. Must pass a background check

The potential candidate will also teach classes as necessary

Pay: $12-13/hr to start. Teaching assignments are paid at $25-35/single hr presentation, depending on experience. Pay increase after 1 or 2 semesters. This position is tracked for a monthly compensation based on performance.
