Job Summary
- As a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery method involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world’s leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating a one-hour workshop, or multi-hour/multi-day camp using a pre-set curriculum!
- Each session is high-energy. It’s part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on class or camp!
- Enjoy teaching children the fascinating wonders of science!
We are currently looking for energetic individuals to join our growing team to conduct exciting science programs all day during the summer. You do NOT need to be a certified teacher, nor do you need to be a science major.
Qualifications
Some experience working with groups of elementary age (5-12) children (such as CCD instructor or camp counselor).

- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- A reliable car and valid driver’s license.
- Fun and outgoing personality!
- Complete a background check.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
