Part-Time
Compensation: $15 per hour (Pays minimum 2 hours per day)

Who We are:

Mad Science of St. Louis is a local science enrichment company that has been in business for the past 21 years. We specialize in sparking the scientific imagination and curiosity of elementary age children through exciting, hands-on, after school enrichment programs. Our programs combine engaging discussions, exciting demonstrations, hands-on group activities and awesome take-home projects to bring science to life! Come flex your teaching skills in an awesome environment!

We are looking for instructors who are:

• High-energy and dynamic!
• Have a passion for teaching elementary age students.
• Have experience working with elementary age students (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counselor, etc).
• Have excellent public speaking skills.
• Are available a minimum of 2 afternoons per week between 2:30-5:30 p.m.
• Have a working, reliable vehicle.

What you can expect:

• Compensation is $15 per hour. This includes set up time, one hour of class time and clean-up. Instructors will be paid for 2 hours of time minimally per single class taught. 
• Thorough training sessions and manuals to guide you through each lesson.
• Pre-prepped kits including all materials needed for each lesson.
